Write and send a message

Fill in recipients, add CC and BCC, attach files within the limits, insert a ready-made template and save a draft in your Email Business mailbox.

The compose window sits in the bottom right corner and does not block the rest of the mailbox — you can keep reading other messages while you write.

Before you start

  • You can sign in to your mailbox on webmail

Open the compose window

Click Compose at the top of the left sidebar.

Fill in the recipients

  1. Type an address on the To line and press Enter — each address becomes its own chip
  2. Need more lines? Click CC or BCC at the end of the To line
  3. Fill in the Subject

Type the first few characters and the mailbox suggests addresses you have saved.

The compose window in the bottom right corner: To, Cc and Bcc lines each holding one address chip, the Subject line, the formatting toolbar, the message body, and a bottom row with the Send button, its schedule arrow and Discard

Attach files

Click the Attach icon, or drag files straight into the compose window.

LimitValue
Size of one message, attachments included25 MB
Addresses in one message (To + Cc + Bcc)50

A larger file reports Larger than 25 MB as soon as you pick it. Either compress it, or upload it to a file-storage service and send a link instead.

Insert a ready-made template

Click ⋮ (More options) → Templates, then pick a template name under Insert template — the content is inserted at the cursor, and the subject is only filled in from the template when the subject field is empty. A template is private to your mailbox, not shared with coworkers; see Templates for how to save, overwrite and delete one.

Send or keep it

  • Send — the message goes out now
  • The arrow beside the send button — schedule it
  • Save Draft — parks it in Drafts to finish later

Check the result

Open Sent: the message you just sent must be on the first row. If it is not, look in Drafts and Scheduled — many a "message never went out" turns out to be a message never sent.
