Mailboxes Email Business

What Email Business is and the order to set it up

Mailboxes on your own company domain. This page covers what the service includes, the three setup steps in order, and who reads which part.

Email Business gives you mailboxes on your company's own domain — you@example.com — a place to read that mail, and a console where you hand mailboxes out to staff.

How it differs from the other three services

Changes your root MXyes, to CloudFlyyes, to the filter and on from thereno

Email Security also changes MX, but filtered mail still travels on to your own server. Email Business is the only service where the mailbox itself lives at CloudFly.

Three steps to a working service

  1. Verify domain ownership — one TXT record
  2. Publish the four mail DNS records — MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
  3. Create your first mailbox — and send a message both ways

After step 3 the service is running. Every other page is day-to-day operation, read when you need it.

The domain is already there; you do not add it

CloudFly creates the domain for you when the service is opened, using the name you gave when you signed up. That is why the Domains page has no add button — it is a setup wizard for that one domain. A page reading "Domain information not found" is not something you did wrong; contact support.

Where your staff start

This documentation is written for the person who administers the domain. End users — the people who only open a mailbox to read and send — have their own branch: Get started with your mailbox.

Send them that link when you hand over a new mailbox; it starts at the first sign-in.
